Historic Pope County

This print includes the following images: "Crappie Town" as Lake Minnewaska appeared in the Minneapolis Star (c. 1965), No. 3 Engine from the Lowry Fire Department (c. 1904), Villard Depot in 1898, Glenwood's ski jump in 1912, duck hunters on Lake Reno from 1925, Terrace Mill and mill pond from early in the twentieth century, a Starbuck area threshing crew of the 1890's, the bell from School District 9, an excursion boat on Lake Minnewaska 
(c. 1919), Ojibwe arrowheads, the Cyrus Fishermen's College, Pope County's first sod house,  the Starbuck Polar Bear Club, Swedish drinking mugs and Norwegian hardanger fiddle, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lowry (c. 1909).
